Live web cam: Oberwesel and Rhine shipping in view
The museum doesn't just focus on history. Take a look for yourself through our webcam into the center of the World Heritage Valley - Oberwesel. Trains, ships, car traffic, the roofs above the old, tranquil town and, of course, the Rhine river amidst the vineyards. All of this unfolds wonderfully in real time via image and sound impression from the elevated perspective of the camera. And with a little luck and patience, you will also discover the wild herds of mouflons living on the slopes of the Rhine.
Museum Cinema
The museum’s cinema is located in the historic vaulted cellar. Here, amongst other things, you can watch a film on the history of Rhine shipping which was made specially for the museum.
